Turn on the Word-Extracting mode.
Whenever your mouse points to any Chinese character on
your computer screen, the English translation will
appear instantly.
2) Click the
Appendix tab at the left bottom of the main screen.
The first table is for you to check Chinese characters
by their strokes (BuShou). If you know how to write
the character, click this function and a detailed

What is the difference between this International
version of PowerWord and the Chinese version Kingsoft
CIBA 2003 and 2005?
Answer: Kingsoft Powerword
5.5 International version has both Chinese and English
interfaces for both English speakers and Chinese
speakers. The user's manual and help file are in
English. Kingsoft Powerword 2003 and 2005 are for
Chinese speakers with Chinese interface only. It also

international selling. The user's manual and help file
are in Chinese.
8. How can I get
the pronunciation of the Chinese words translated from
an English word that I input?
Answer: Once you input an
English word in the input box of the main window of
the software, hit return. The translations of the
English word will appear in the main window. If you
click the sound speaker, the speaker will pronounce
the English word that you just input. To get the
system to pronounce the translated Chinese word, you
need to double click the Chinese word, and then click
the sound speaker again. If multiple Chinese words
appear in the translation, you can only select one
word at a time for the system to speak. Typically, the
first Chinese word is the primary meaning of the
corresponding English word.
9.
I can only hear one language but not the other. Why?
Answer: Make sure you set
the speakers in your PC system to on - both left and
right speakers. The speakers could be set in the
Control Panel of the Windows system.
