Trade Value between China and Latvia was Over US$0.1Billion in 2003

According to China Customs statistics, trade value between China and Latvia in 2003 were US$0.13 Billion, breaking through US$0.1 billion, up by 78.5% over 2002. Of which, China's exports were US$0.111 billion, up by 63.9%, imports of US$ 19.21 million, up by 2.67 times. Latvia's exports were also in a historical high since 1995.

Latvia's imports from China in 2003 are as follows: textiles accounting for 21.4%, up by 2.8%, machinery and equipments accounting for 20%, up by 1.5%, finished products 12.1%, footwear, headgear, umbrella accounting for 10.4%, chemical products 6.8% and other products 29.3%. Latvia's exports to China were as follows: machinery and equipments 77%, up by 54.6%, transportation accounting for 11%,metal product accounting for 7.5%, chemical products 3.4%, lumber products 0.4% and 0.6% in others.
